At the entrance, we were told that dogs are not allowed inside because this is a rule set by the owner. This is the first café in France (and I mean a café, not a restaurant) where we were refused the simple possibility to sit inside and have a coffee because of a dog. In 2025, in a country where so many people have dogs, such a rule feels outdated, inflexible, and completely out of touch with modern life. We were not asking for special treatment — just breakfast a
