We specifically came to this café to have breakfast. We were with our Cocker Spaniel, a medium-sized, calm and well-behaved dog. At the entrance, we were told that dogs are not allowed inside because this is a rule set by the owner. This is the first café in France (and I mean a café, not a restaurant) where we were refused the simple possibility to sit inside and have a coffee because of a dog. In 2025, in a country where so many people have dogs, such a rule feels outdated, inflexible, and completely out of touch with modern life. Bloom Café in Issy-les-Moulineaux, near Gare d'Issy, is a spacious and beautifully designed spot with a bright, inviting ambiance perfect for Instagram-worthy moments. The staff were super and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Unfortunately the toast forestière was cold, soggy, and tasteless, accompanied by wet lettuce straight out of the bag with no vinaigrette. I'd go back for coffee, but have lunch someplace else.
