Intrigued by the outside of the building I decided to have dinner here. The patio was too crowded (because it was such a beautiful day), so I opted for the perfect inside table with a view. The waiter was kind and attentive. I ordered a peach flavored beer, then moved on to the classic steak fries with peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, the fries were hot and crisp, but the peppercorn sauce didn't meet the rest of the meal. It was slightly watery. I decided to eat my steak without it.

When you think of restaurants that are in the center of a big town, you think touristy, you think not high quality more volume. But you would come up short and wrong in this restaurant. The amount of people on tables outside was crazy, but yet inside the food was very good and very tasty. The waiters were very kind and quick to serve. The prices were pretty reasonable for the center of town. The bathroom facilities were in good shape. Very disappointing experience. This place calls itself a café, yet we were pressured to order food at a time when meals weren’t even appropriate. Meanwhile, other customers were clearly allowed to have just drinks. We felt singled out and treated unfairly, which came across as discriminatory. Policies should apply equally to everyone. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

Solid choice for lunch. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Tables very close together which can feel a little crowded when busy.
