Wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked into this restaurant, but it was very good. The waitress was very helpful. She could speak English and was very patient with us. I had the fish of the day hack, which was very good. Also had the chicken and fry cheese combination for the plate plus appetizer for €28, which was very good bread was good. Wine was good reasonably priced !! for such a good meal and well presented happy customer with this meal and would highly recommend it. The atmosphere is really nice old café feeling

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Le Chop, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance set the tone for a cozy and refined evening. The staff was friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu. The food was absolutely exceptional. The wine selection was well-curated, and the dessert – a classic crème brûlée – was the perfect finish to our meal. Overall, Le Chop combines elegant French-inspired cuisine with a warm atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommended for both casual dinners and special occasions.

The photos of major and minor celebrities on the walls suggest that if you are not in such a category then perhaps you shouldn’t be there. From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel that we had done something wrong. Walk in and wait for someone to greet us? Glare at us like we’ve interrupted their day. Seated at the wrong table? Chastise the guests for the error. The food was disappointing. A shadow of what makes traditional brasserie fare the iconic cuisine it can be.
