A bustling open kitchen concept that perfectly fits this seafood café and shop hybrid; with first come, first served seating and quick attentive service delivered with a genuinely engaging attitude. Their daily special updates every morning (they wouldn’t know until the day of opening!), always highlighting the freshest catch of the day. If you’re lucky enough to secure a seat during the rush, it’s absolutely worth it and a great way to experience what Munich’s seafood scene has to offer! (Come after 3PM on a weekday for the coziest time minus the rush!)

service across the street at Witte was non-existent (was told that someone would take my order, waited 10 mins and still nothing) so popped across to Poseidon. the tall male server was very prompt and friendly, and the Bouillabaisse was excellent (4eur cheaper than the fish soup at Witte). indoor table seats are v limited though (high tables) so settled for one of the plentiful outdoor tables.

Great find! If one looks at my review history, you can see that I can sometimes be critical, even when I give a 5 star review. In the case of Poseidon, there was not a single critique that I could find. In fact, this is a rare pearl in a sea full of wonderful oysters (work with me here on the analogy). Pros: - Decent selection of oysters, well shucked and the raspberry vinaigrette was delicious… not overpowering. FYI I don’t normally like raspberry. - Ordered the white fish special with asparagus. I hate asparagus, yet I finished every bite. The white fish was pan fried to perfection. - i wat

A great discovery! Robert provided warm and attentive service, and the seafood spaghetti was excellent. The atmosphere is simple, friendly, and authentic, you immediately feel at ease. Highly recommended!
