I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was good with generous portions, and the service was very good. The waitress who attended us was kind, attentive, and quick, which made the visit even more pleasant. The prices felt fair considering the portion sizes, and overall everything was well done. We found the staff willing and able to speak English unlike some reviews. It was a rainy day so we decided to try some German pretzels and beer. Both were good however, I was surprised the pretzel was service with a packet of Heinz mustard. Germany is known to have superior mustard as compared to America's Heinz mustard. Please replace the mustard!

German restaurant with classic dishes. Tasty but a little pricey. Different from similar restaurants, side salad was not included. Beer was good. Reservation recommended. We were placed at a small high table in the walk way but happy to get a table at all. Later when the restaurant was less crowded, we were not offered to move but also did not ask. Restaurant is a safe choice when staying in Speyer.
