My wife and I, together with another couple, visited LKH for dinner on 29 May 2026. Wanting to experience a broad range of dishes, we decided to go with their popular tasting menu with wine paring. The service team was warm, polished, and attentive throughout, delivering a level of hospitality that felt both gracious and genuinely well-paced. However, we found the dishes on the tasting menu somewhat underwhelming and not quite aligned with the high expectations set. In particular, the barbecued pork lacked the luscious, melt-in-the-mouth quality one would hope for, as the cut was noticeably too lean (no fat) with the fat-to-meat ratio felt imbalanced. With a tasting menu, I had expected each course to be prepared à la minute and composed with the precision, restraint, and technical intent to take center stage. It has always been in my bucket list. Not because of it is pricy that I hadn’t tried it before, just because it was so full and you had to book it very advance. This time, as I knew I would be in Hong Kong even few months ago, so I had this booking for myself (sometimes we need to treat ourself well, right)? Turns out it is not as expensive as I thought, for lucnh (mainly dim sum), just 900. Best dim sum and 燒味, trust me. I’ll be back 😃 I forget to put an important remark (so I edit my review now): all the staff are great, very helpful. They make you 賓至如歸 (feel at home) but nothing 矯揉做作（pretentious)😃

We were looking forward to dinner at Lung King Heen, but unfortunately our meal was disappointing given the restaurant’s reputation and price point. The team was gracious in accommodating our family when I had accidentally reserved for four instead of five, and I appreciated that. However, the meal itself did not meet the level we expected from a two-Michelin-star restaurant at the Four Seasons. The crispy pork had nice skin, but the meat itself did not taste good. The soup was not successful, and several other dishes we ordered felt fairly ordinary and forgettable. The mango sago was also disappointing: the mango was unripe and dessert did not have the quality and depth of flavor I would expect from a top Cantonese restaurant. Service was polite, but not particularly polished for this level. For example, soups for the table arrived at noticeably different times rather than being served together. Me and my wife was expecting great food and service in one of a few 2 star Michelin star Dim sum in Hong Kong. To my surprise the food is normal compare the price. The part I am most astonish is the service. As a IFC Black member I am entitled to discount to all Four season hotel Resturant. The staff told me I need to inform them in advance in order to be entitled to the discount. The worse happened when I and my wife need to wait for 15 mins deliberately by the resturant manager for the bill and they mistook another table bill and send it to me. I am very disappointed with the service and food, that is totally not up to the standard 2 Michelin star standard. Should be down graded. There are better service Resturant like spring moon at peninsula where service and food are better. Price is more reasonable
