Easy 5 star! I'd recommend this place especially for business purpose as it's comfortable to talk to each other. Food was good! The sourdough from the start was already my favourite. You should try their small bites (the tuna & the beef char siu were excellent). We are happy with the service and the special treats for Mothers Day. Thank you guys. I should mention that their parkings were all full. I'd be prepared to park at other places next time if I visit. Also the air con outlets are facing the tables so the dishes get cold very soon. Overall, I do recommend SOMM for all occasions, especially for business chats over wine and great food.

I got to the restaurant early and the bar table was ready so I enjoyed a drink before my companion arrived for dinner. I downloaded the Landmark app to try their Taste of Month menu and it was a great selection. We added the supplement for the chicken and since we were celebrating an anniversary they gave us a complimentary dessert. By then we were full as we also added the souffle which was devine. We had to take home some chicken and dessert. Great selection of wine complimented the food. Excellent service as we were well looked after. Overall nice for an intimate date or even dining solo or a quick drink and snack.

Thank you for a delightful evening at SOMM - my first visit, and a delightful surprise. I’m a regular at Amber, so it was a pleasure to experience its sister restaurant. The char siu (one of the "bites"), the three-cheese onion soup, and the signature soufflé were all outstanding. The mains - sea bass and striploin, while presentable, might be less impressive, Still, the sommelier’s wine selection, together with the attentive yet unobtrusive service, made the evening especially enjoyable, and the birthday surprise truly delighted my guest. I look forward to returning.

Booked at 8:30pk, had to wait for 10 mins since the tables before us weren’t finished. Started was shiitake mushroom puree- smooth and sweet. Bread basket - sourdough and there was a type that’s was very thin and grain/ oat flavour which I really liked. Butter was just like normal butter you will usually get. Bites - anchovies brioche was pretty refreshing, the tomato stood out which I liked. Starters - fresh fig with ricotta matches very well with a bit of sweetness. Also got heirloom tomato burrata puff pastry, ate it like a pizza and the onion marmalade complimented it well. Mains - black cod and yellow chicken. Pretty soft overall, the corn& yuzu koshe puree suprised me, very sweet and crunchy texture! Highlight of the dish. Dessert - chocolate soufflé was airy and fluffy with cacao sorbet. We finally tried SOMM one weekend. We don’t drink alcohol, so we went for the cheapest option, the SOMMkind of Light Brunch for $668. It includes a cup of coffee or tea. For the Light Brunch, water costs an extra $40 per person. The bread basket and the four starters were all delicious. We were basically full by the time we’d finished them 🤣 As for the main courses: Poached ‘KINS Eggs’ on an English muffin was relatively ordinary, to be honest. The tuna, however, was really tasty 👍🏻 – definitely worth a try. The chocolate soufflé with chocolate ice cream is top-notch It’s definitely the highlight of this restaurant Although we only had a table before 12 noon, we went anyway It turns out the dining time is only two hours, which wasn’t enough for me 🙈 I wanted to linger a bit longer, but the waiter kept coming over to remind us to eat while it was hot 🤣

a great spot for a special yet not too extravagant dinner at somm in the mandarin oriental. the meal was a good balance of high-quality, affordable fine dining where all the dishes felt in harmony, and nothing was overpowering. we started with the aka uni french toast, which i really enjoyed — the uni was super fresh and its umami flavor really shined & went well with the soft brioche. the french onion soup gratinated was another win, with a great balance of soup, bread, cheese, and onion; it was cozy and satisfying without being too heavy. a real highlight was the dry-aged pigeon — tender with crispy skin, and the mild mala seasoning went nicely with the acidicity of the plum. we ended with the abinao chocolate soufflé, which was a perfect sweet finish. the staff were super friendly and the service was great, just as you’d expect here. my only small note is that the tables are a bit close together. nonetheless, i’d definitely go back for a nice but casual meal. @lunerrri on instagram

We visited SOMM on New Year’s first day and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. Given that it is a hotel restaurant of this caliber, we didn't expect so many signature dishes to be unavailable on the first day of the year. Regarding the food, the Beef Char Siu was good, but the rest was hit or miss. The Truffle Sandwich was a bit awkward to eat as the portion was too large for "bites,"（Id rather they created a smaller portion with cheaper price) and the Seabass was mediocre. Even the famous Chocolate Soufflé was just soso. Surprisingly, the highlight ended up being the Almond Financier, which was better than expected. Overall, not the start to the year we were hoping for.
