Located on 2nd floor, a little hard to find. We had the 8 course menu where most dishes were great, especially the desserts. Good atmosphere and large range of craft beers although a little expensive
Great vibes - local HK style🇭🇰 and super fun and vibrant🧡💛💚🤘🏻🎸 All dishes are decent with creative twist! Worth trying if you’re around✨ Recommend the torched salmon belly, pistachio matcha latte and the egg waffle with ice cream!🍨🧇 See detailed review on Instagram: gugufoodie

I loved the concept here—a funky cafe by day and a dinner spot by night. The menu offers delicious Chinese-Western fusion. It captures the soul of a Dai Pai Dong but presents it with a fine-dining flair. Be aware that portions are on the smaller side (tapas-style), but the flavors are spot on. Definitely check out their wide range of craft beers.

Ho Lan Jeng is a fun fusion restaurant with a wide selection of craft beers. We went during lunchtime and my friend, who knows beer well, said their beers were great. For appetizers, we ordered the jellyfish head with eggplant and I really loved it. The texture and flavor worked very well together. The fries were also excellent. They were crispy, well seasoned and very enjoyable. The main dish, the cha siu lard rice, took quite a long time to arrive. We waited around 30 to 40 minutes. When it finally came, the cha siu was a bit dry. I think they either need to switch to a fattier cut or pay closer attention to temperature/ time control when grilling the meat so that it stays tender. The price is not high, but with a 30 or 40 minute wait for a lunch dish, my expectations naturally increased. I would return for the appetizers and the craft beer selection, but I hope the kitchen improves the consistency of the main dishes.

This was easily the best meal we had during our week in Hong Kong. We probably never would have found it on our own, but after asking a tour guide for a spot with good craft beer, this place absolutely delivered. There were probably a dozen local beers on tap! We went with a coursed menu for two, and every dish was fantastic. Highlights included the pineapple Iberico char-siu, peanut rice rolls, watermelon shrimp salad, and the slow-roasted short rib rice. But the real showstopper was the burrata dessert—it was completely out of this world. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The place is a little tricky to find, but just follow Google Maps. Once you hear the loud, dull music from the street, step into the unassuming lobby and take the elevator up to the second floor. You’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable meal.

The food here are creative fusion and it is pretty good. The tastes blend together well. The only thing is the restaurant is very very loud, we can't really carry a conversation in there, feels like shouting all the time.

Came with a restaurant-owner friend and we both agreed the service is superb! Tasting menu is a bit too heavy on meat and we would love to see more vegetarian options, but it's compensated by unique cocktails. Recommend!
