Everything was perfect. Loved the taste of the Chicken Biryani. Staff were attentive and didn't delay in serving the food. Their Chicken Biryani is one of my favourites now.

Grand Hotel at Abids has been serving customers since 1935 and remains a go-to spot, especially for shoppers looking for a filling meal. I have ordered Tandoori Chicken, Mutton Biryani, and Butter Naan. The biryani still holds its signature flavor. The tandoori chicken with Butter Naan is a reliable choice and tastes quite satisfying. The restaurant has a busy, energetic atmosphere and manages to stay fairly comfortable despite the constant crowd. Service is the only downside, as staff can come across as impatient at times. Overall, it’s a place with a strong legacy, but improving service would make a big difference.

Hotel has too much rush as it’s famous and ambience is messy because of too much crowd. Car parking is impossible and bike parking is difficult due to too much crowd. Service is also very fast. The plates and cutlery is very clean despite too much crowd. Amazing! I had mutton biryani and it was very flavourful and tasty. I felt, the pieces were not enough. The gravy and raita were also very good. The raita was a bit more of salty. Hygiene was also nice.

Grand Hotel in Abids is one of the oldest and most famous Hyderabadi restaurants, especially known for its authentic biryani, Irani chai, kebabs, and bakery items. It has a strong legacy dating back decades and remains a popular food spot for locals and visitors in Hyderabad. * The restaurant is highly popular for its flavorful Hyderabadi chicken and mutton biryani. Many customers appreciate the rich masala, spicy salan, and reasonable pricing. * Their Irani chai, Osmania biscuits, bun maska, tangdi kebabs, and qubani ka meetha are also customer favorites. * The ambience is simple and traditional rather than luxurious. It is more famous for taste and heritage than modern interiors. * Service is generally fast because of heavy customer flow, though during peak hours the place becomes crowded and noisy. * Pricing is considered affordable compared to many premium biryani restaurants in Hyderabad. * Authentic old-style Hyderabadi taste * Large portions at moderate prices * Famous Irani c

Established in 1935, this is said to be the oldest restaurant in Hyderabad serving Hyderabadi Biryani. They also seem to be serving other Mughlai/Iranian dishes apart from Hyderabadi dishes. The managers of this legacy establishment are said to be of Persian/Iranian descent. Their Biryani is good but not necessarily extraordinary or unique and is quite similar to other Biryanis that you get in the city. They have both non-AC and AC dining halls. Service is fine, the staff members are friendly and helpful. Pricing is reasonable as well. Food: We ordered Mini Chicken Biryani, Mini Mutton Biryani, and Grand Special Kebab. Mini Chicken Biryani: The rice was long-grained basmati as usual. The rice was slightly masaledar, that is, had less masala, as with most other Hyderabad Biryanis. The chicken itself was fine but it wasn't a leg piece and so, it was well-cooked but not that juicy or that tender or melt-in-the-mouth like. Came with mirchi ka salan and raita. Mini Mutton Biryani: Simila

Grand Hotel in Abids is one of the oldest and most well known restaurants in the area and has been a popular stop for decades, especially for people who come to Abids for shopping. Its central location makes it very convenient to grab a proper meal after a long day in the busy markets. The Mutton Biryani has always been one of their signature dishes and is still good in terms of taste, but I feel it was much better earlier. These days, it seems like there are more bones than actual mutton pieces, which is a bit disappointing for a place of this reputation. The flavor is still there, but the meat quantity definitely needs improvement. Their Tandoori Chicken is quite good and pairs really well with Dal Fry and Roti, a simple but very satisfying combination. That part of the menu has remained consistently enjoyable. The ambience is decent, especially considering how crowded and famous the restaurant is. It’s always busy, which shows its popularity, and the seating is fairly comfortable

One of the oldest and most iconic places for food, and honestly, there’s no need to explain the taste — the food is top-notch, delicious, and absolutely worth trying. Every dish we had was really good and flavorful. The only downside is the atmosphere and management during rush hours. The place gets extremely crowded, seating feels a bit uncomfortable with very small table space, and there are constantly people moving around near your table, which affects the dining experience. Coming to the service, the staff and management seemed unable to properly handle the crowd and provide good hospitality to each table, probably because of peak-time rush. My suggestion: avoid visiting during busy hours if you want a relaxed dining experience. But if your priority is amazing food, this place is definitely worth visiting. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐ Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐

Excellent food taste 😋 The grand hotel is one of the famous hotels in the abids and koti region... The food is very delicious My rating as per the categories Food 5/5 (food is very tasty) Service 4/5 (they will take some time to bring the food as it is very much crowdy) Waiting 4/5 (waiting time is so much long when you come during lunch hours after 2pm) Parking 3/5 (parking is quite disturbing because there is no parking for hotel we need to park on the road some time traffic police comes and takes pictures of vechile for challans) Ambiance ( ambiance is good as it is dark) Overall it's a famous restaurant you can visit with both family or friends Highly recommend place ❤️
