I have been here twice now in the last 8 months as our cruise ship stopped at the Livorno port and we visited the lovely town of Luca. Our first visit in Sept 2025, we walked around Luca and then decided to have lunch but somewhere that was just out of the tourist area and found this little gem. We enjoyed our experience and I remembering sharing a lovely cheese and charcuterie board with my wife and I had the tordelli lucchese, a traditional lucca dish which I very much enjoyed. The food was excellent! The pasta is fresh, and the tomato sauce is made daily — you can really taste the quality and care in every dish. They also offer special dishes that are not on the regular menu, which makes the experience even more unique and exciting. Farouk, the new owner, is incredibly friendly and generous. He truly cares that the food is delicious and that all the guests leave happy and satisfied. His personal attention really makes a difference. Highly recommended!
