A wonderful gem I stumbled upon while wandering through the narrow alleys of Syracuse. I’m already a big fan of Guinness on tap, but it paired so perfectly with the unique vibe and charm of Syracuse. The music was also fantastic! It was a truly memorable experience.

It was bouncing down and we needed to get out of the rain. Saw the Guinness sign and thought.. nah. Carried on for a bit but nothing else took our fancy so did a U-turn. Ordered drinks and sat down. The stereotypical Americans were telling someone their life story. What have we done 🤦🏼 Anyway, they left, the drinks were 👌🏼so we ordered some nibbles. Boy they were good. So was the music, and the staff. Several hours later we staggered out. Don't walk by like we nearly did.

The café is cosy, with sofas, books, etc. They are very nice and patient with people who learned and try to speak italian when asking for something. There are different events. I was there to listen to the photograph who talked about Jazz and his photo book, then I watched an animé by Miyazaki. I felt like I was home, really nice! And their paninis are so tasty! You should try :)

I was happy when I found this pub on October 14th, because the people working there were really nice, but unfortunately I don't remember their names. Then I returned to the same pub on October 16, thinking I’d have another great evening. Everything was going smoothly until the bartender changed. Unfortunately, things didn’t go that well after that. Firstly, they tried charging me for extra glass, which didn’t consume. After short debates it was resolved. But the cherry on top was when I was not allowed to use the washroom because it had supposedly been cleaned already…. Excuse me? I'm sitting
