Such a great find in Ipoh. Really felt at home here. So glad I stumbled upon this place on a short virgin Ipoh trip. I was just wandering for a comfortable spot to chill for a bit, and this is really one of the places I was looking for. The vibe inside is really nice and relaxed. It has the feel of a cosy neighbourhood pub where you can actually have a proper conversation. It's not trying too hard, it just feels genuinely welcoming. The menu had some pleasant surprises. I saw they had luncheon meat fries and knew I had to try them. And they really hit the spot – perfectly crispy and tasted like the ultimate comfort snack. Was really happy with it. What stood out for me was the service. I don't take alcohol, and the bartender was super cool about it. Instead of just pointing to the juices, she actually asked what flavours I liked and made a really refreshing mocktail spritz for me. Honestly, it’s the small things like that that make a difference. Waking down the street, I saw what looked to be a bar, so I decided to head on in and wet my whistle. This wasn't a record needle scratching off the record type moment, but I could certainly tell this was a locals bar. That said, had a great time, people here are lovely, and would go back. Just be ready for a lot of Chinese karaoke.

Was looking forward to enjoy their Guinness Draft and chill with my family. We got there, plenty of seats available but was told a private function going on and we were asked to leave. What a bummer!!!! MR no haven, at least have a courtesy to put a sign or notice at entrance that you are closed for private function. Anyway, you lost our business for good..
