Honestly can’t speak highly enough of the team at The Old Bell. We were staying just around the corner and it’s the perfect spot for a drink before or after dinner. It’s a proper 'olde world' pub full of charm, and they even have Heineken 0.0 on draft! ​When the barrel ran out, the staff sorted it immediately and even brought the drinks over to our table. The team here actually remembers you—the customer service is just outstanding. It’s a great mix of locals and travelers of all ages. Such a pleasure, thanks so much! Next time I’m in Amsterdam, I’ll definitely be back.

We had some problems with the service, as it was very hard to get seen by our waiter and be taken care of. Sometimes we had to go into the bar to get help. The waiters were very kind, though and very sweet and helpful. It was just that the service was pretty sporadic and inconsistent. I had the schnitzel and it was delicious! We were so pleased with our food and thought it was all delicious. This was one of our favorite places we eat at in Amsterdam! I had never had Wienerschnitzel before and I thought it was delicious!
