Seemed like a popular cafe, full of locals dining when I was there. I just popped in for an Ube latte because…… why not? Disappointed, didn’t taste anything like ube. Tasted like watered down milk, definitely not worth the EUR5! It looked good but lacks any flavor, not a hint of ube. Would not recommend ordering that. Service was friendly, and they looked like they had an interesting menu. I made a mental note to return for breakfast. Too bad the ube latte wasn’t any good so I didn’t end up returning. This place is soooo cute and the staff is simply amazing. I had apple pie and cappuccino. It was definitely one the best apple pie i tried in the Netherlands, apples were still crispy and delish, home-made whipped cream was perfect match. And coffee is really good as well! Will definitely come back

This café was an absolute highlight during our time in Leiden. The pancakes were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, so fluffy, flavorful and just perfect. The whole place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can really feel the attention to detail, which makes it a true feel-good spot. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. If you’re in the area, I can highly recommend stopping by. We would definitely come back!
