Picante offers some of the best Mexican food I tried during my trip not my #1 overall, but definitely unique. I visited twice because it was the nearest halal-friendly option next to my hotel. First visit: I tried the shawarma and it was honestly perfect in taste, but the chicken portion inside the sandwich was a bit small. The tacos were excellent no complaints at all. Second visit: I ordered a burger and fries, and unfortunately the burger was terrible. The loaded fries (with cheese and sauces) were very saucy, which made them soggy and wet. Overall, I think this place has strong potentia

Affordable, flavorful, fresh! A great meal! I’m visiting Setúbal, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about this spot for my first week here. I decided to try it tonight, and I’m so glad I did. I absolutely loved my veggie pita shawarma. The garlic sauce was the perfect condiment, and the fries were prepared exactly how I like them. Everything felt fresh and intentionally-made. It was so affordable and satisfying. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

Walked into this place just looking for last minute lunch. They are open all day and we have the chicken shawarma & the meat & bun signature burger and fries. Wow was it delicious!! The crazy part is they even had Mexican and so we will be back to try the Mexican food. Thank you!!!
