Absolutely the best restaurant in Bilbao, hands down. Every dish was incredibly delicious. If you’re looking to taste the very best, Asador Borda is the place to go. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, accommodating our every request. We will definitely be back!

Visited Barcelona, San Sebastián, Getxo/Bilbao and Madrid, and this was far and away the best dinner we had! The food is simple and fresh. Their formula boils down to matching a few amazing ingredients to create food that is irresistible on every level! Borda is off the beaten path, probably a 10 minute walk from the beach in Getxo, so if your cruise includes a stop in Bilbao and docks in Getxo, do yourself a favor and make a reservation! This is one of those places where staff seems to be making you a favour allowing you to eat there, instead of being helpful and attentive. Unwelcomeness askde, food is very tasty, but portions are not on par with price. In sum, a bit disappointed after our lunch at what seemes a trditional Basque Asador, but whose attempt to sophistication results in portions being too small. We believe you can find better places around.
