Enjoyed great food and friendly service at Restaurante Tamarises Bistrot. While the English proficiency of the servers may vary, they strive to accommodate your requests. Indulge in the seafood dishes that are sure to satisfy your palate. Prices are on the higher end but decent. They had some Buena Vista Social Club playing in the Background which was nice for me.

As a couple only one of whom is vegetarian, the big attraction here was the extensive vegetarian section to the menu. But, in the event, the whole experience here was a delight. Service was excellent … they were very busy and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated (making a reservation is clearly a good idea at busy times!) but all of the staff were cheerful and friendly at all times (and it was great that the place didn’t seem to demand its staff submerged their personalities behind anonymous corporate “professionalism” - you had the feeling of interacting with real people). We visited this restaurant today. We came from the south of Spain and had heard that everything in the north is of higher quality, including the service — but apparently not at this place! We walked in on our own and sat down at a table. We waited about 10 minutes for a waiter and tried multiple times to get their attention, but they completely ignored us, even though we were a family of four! The prices on the menu are not up to date! In decent restaurants, they at least offer you water while you wait 30 minutes for your food — but here, everything seems to be aimed at tourists who only com
