Best meal in Cordoba. We had a rotten night last night so went on the search for a restaurant that would redeem our faith in Cordoba. Wow, we found it at La Tranquera. This is one of the best meals we've ever had, anywhere. My wife had skirt steak with grilled veg. Sensational. I had grilled chicken on the BBQ with chimichurri sauce. It was absolutely unbelievable. Last night's disappointments have been forgotten thanks to La Tranquera.

2nd visit (-1 star): It was so good the first time I came back again 6 days later and ordered entraña again. But this time the steak was a bit overcooked and tough. 1st visit: Very delicious entraña (skirt steak). Cooked perfectly. Never thought skirt steak could taste so tender and good (my usual go-to steak is ribeye). I used to think skirt steak was kind of dry and tough to chew, but now I know when it's cooked correctly, it can be as flavorful as any other steak.

Small and nice place, Argentinian style, two beef options on the menu, entrana and vascio. Malbec on the wine list, everything I was looking for. Clean, intimate, unpretentious.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Our family brought us here and it did not disappoint. The food and service were fantastic. We started with the empanadas rabo de toro. Flaky crust and delicious filling. We all could have eaten a few more. I had the Presa ibérica, succulent and seared perfectly. The entraña steaks had a wonderful crust and were cooked to a perfect medium rare. Finally, the burger with grilled onions and goat cheese was spectacular. All meals were served with the most delicious fried potatoes. Looking forward to eating here again when we return to Córdoba.
