I was visiting Madrid and took my breakfast twice in Granier. They say they have cheap menus but they catch you in the midlines. In the first day I ordered a café con leche (coffee with a bit of milk) and some pastries. They say they have a menu of café + pastries, but as I ordered café con leche it ended up being more than 1€ more expensive (1€ for a bit of milk...). In the second day I returned and tried a new approach: I ordered a café solo (the one in the menu) and a croissant (they have a menu with café + croissant) but the waitress (rude as hell) asked me if I wanted the croissant simp

Granier is always good for bread, sandwiches and pastries. And the coffee is good.

Good service, offered a variety of bread yet just less choices than other equivalent Granier for pastries and desserts. Ordered tea and the plate was dirty with something looks like previous chocolate leftover. Understanding the location is on a busy Madrid street, yet the washroom needs to be cleaned regularly please. Its cleanliness simply reflects how clean is the kitchen too. Enough said.
