I absolutely adore this restaurant! I have visited it twice, and definitely next time I go to Madrid, I will visit it again. The restaurant is located in the heart of Madrid on a very cute street, and it is easy to find and walk there if you stay in the city center. The place is not very big – both times I went there for lunch, there were no tables available, so I had to sit at the bar; once I even had to wait about 7 minutes until one bar spot became free. Casa Lucas is for me a must when in Madrid. Outstanding food that blends perfectly chosen high quality ingredients with an impressive outcome. This is the only review I leave on a 10 day trip to Spain. I had the tomatoes an goat cheese salad, the smoked sardines and the ox tail. All three are outstanding and highly recommend. I wanted to try the Foi, but had no space left. I've been two times to Madrid this year and this is my go to. I cook a lot and I appreciate a well made dish. Trust me on this one. You will enjoy it.
