Since we arrived a bit early and had to wait for our apartment to be ready, we decided to spend some time at this café. The staff were very friendly, especially the young woman working there, who made us feel very welcome. As we arrived quite early and it was Christmas Eve, not everything from the menu was available, but we still chose a few items and they were all very tasty. The space itself could maybe use a bit more attention, and some light background music would improve the atmosphere, as others have already mentioned. Excellent food beautifully presented. The service was attentive and rapid. There are other breakfast “popular” breakfast brunch venues nearby with queues out the door; don’t bother, Caramello Salato Café hits the spot. Recommend the pancakes and eggs benedict. The only improvement would be the addition of some background music to enhance the already attractive decoration.

As others have mentioned, the food here is underwhelming. I ordered the Turkish breakfast and the salmon bagel—unfortunately, the Turkish breakfast was the least impressive I’ve had, and the avocado with the salmon tasted processed rather than fresh. The coffee was average, and while the juice seemed freshly made, it had a slightly off taste, as if it had been sitting out too long. For a table of four, they brought only one menu, and service was so slow that I eventually had to walk up to the counter just to place our order. Absolutely amazing dishes! Decorated in such manner that you can’t resist taking photos, and the taste is incredible. Eggs Benedict is definitely a fan favorite for a reason. Pancakes were top notch as well, but I need to be honest: At the core, the pancakes weren’t the best I’ve had in Malaga, but the decoration and entourage makes up for that! The fruit juices are delicious as well. This is definitely a place where you want to come back to try out the entire menu.
