Loved my relaxed meal there last week! The space is really cozy, service was laid back but thoughtful, and the food was great. I skipped breakfast to have room for a large lunch, and this didn't disappoint. I was solo and the people watching was also lovely. The chorizo presentation is like nothing I've seen before and impressed me! I came at a good time and was sat inside right away.

Last time in 2024, exactly two years ago, I was impressed by this little diner's breakfast Tapas menu. I fell in love with La Recova, Malaga. It's probably one of the best things in Malaga. Today, we visited La Recova again as we extended our stay in Malaga, perhaps for good. The place looks the same; I recognized even the faces of two of our hosts. Service this time was equally good, like before, and today I tried their lunch menu. I somehow feel the true vibe of Malaga lies here, not in the modern and chic dine-outs.

The breakfast spread featured toasted bread served alongside an assortment of spreads and condiments, all thoughtfully placed in an innovative egg carton tray. The toast was perfectly golden, crunchy on the outside, and soft within. Mint Tea: The drink was a refreshing glass of mint tea. Served in a clear glass, the vibrant green leaves were both visually appealing and aromatic. The tea was steeped to perfection, with the fresh mint flavor shining through.

If you love tapas, great service and something quirky then this is the ideal place. Its like walking into an antique shop only to find a friendly tapas bar serving some superb food and drink. We had, Russian Salad, Anchovies, olives and flaming Chorizo all washed down with ice cold beer. Fantastic.
