My husband and I visited while vacationing in Barcelona after discovering the restaurant through YouTube videos. We chose it to celebrate our anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations! Wonderful food at Maleducat. Beautifully presented and very tasty. The finger foods were perfect for 1, not sharing, but the main plates were perfect for sharing. Sommelier was very helpful. We had a seat close to the automatic door which did make it cold occasionally as it was January but this restaurant is a gem and definitely worth eating at and very reasonably priced we felt.

I first learned about Maleducat on the @SpainRevealed YT channel and, after some reasearch, promised myself to dine there when in Barca. It is located across the street from Mercat de Sant Antoni. The physical space has a pleasant ambiance. While it can get lively, with so many diners having a good time, it was never loud or distracting I made reservations about two weeks in advance, first sitting. Food and service was excellent. Attentive and friendly staff. Every meal was great as well. We had the 49euro set menu which included 3 starters, 5 mains and 2 desserts. Having come straight from the food market, the oyster started unfortunately paled in comparison. Thornback Ray was probably the dish we liked the least. The centre part of the ray was sinewy and difficult to chew. Beef tartare, pork, leek was otherwise impressive and well done. Desserts were 10/10. The raw prawn and the ham croquette was so good I had to order another one ala carte.
