“Here,On 16th of August 2025, we tried Lunch. The place was really crowded. We have to wait more than 10 minutes to find space for 5 members. We've ordered 3 portions of rice & curry, one portion of vegie fried rice. There're service is bit late. But the price was reasonable with the taste.”

I am very disappointed with the service at your restaurant. The young staff were very disrespectful and behaved unprofessionally. The food quality was not good, and the curry tasted like it was mixed mostly with water. Overall, the experience was very unpleasant and I felt disrespected as a customer. Rolex Hotel Restaurant is truly one of the best places to eat in Jaffna town. The food is absolutely amazing both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are full of flavour, fresh, and excellent for the price. The taste is really outstanding and the menu offers great variety for everyone. The service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant is conveniently located near the tuk-tuk stand and bus stand, making it very easy to visit. The place is neat and well maintained, adding to the overall dining experience. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jaffna. Definitely a mustry.

The best choice for lunch is the yellow rice (their style of biryani), served with chickpea curry and fried chicken a taste you will never forget. Kottu and fried rice are also good, but for lunch, the yellow rice is the ultimate option. Advice for the owner: The staff could benefit from further training in hospitality and professionalism. Also, improving washroom access would enhance the overall customer experience.

One of my bucket list items to do in Jaffna. I went there with some friends for lunch and we got seated into the AC areas as the other area was crowded. The staff was friendly and explained the dishes. The portions were huge and we were glad that we didn't order more. There are signs inside the restaurant also asking people to order only what they can eat. The food was good and the price was ok as well.
