The building is beautiful with lots of history, enormous bedrooms, very comfortable and cosy. It is a little tired in some places but this is reflected in its 3* status, but if you can look past this and recognise the enormity of what it would take to restore this building to its full splendor you can really appreciate it for what it is. The room was large and incredibly clean, not a spec of dust or hair anywhere. Real character and original features everywhere. The bar staff and breakfast staff were very attentive, pleasant, and approachable. As for the Manager, Brenton, we found him very welcoming and accommodating.
