We were staying in this area for a few days to see a concert in Cardiff. Googled places to eat nearby and read the reviews. Just goes to show how important good honest reviews are as we made our choice based on them. We were greated and looked after at the table by Sian M who was very helpful and bubbly. She was backed by a great team, Aimele, Ronan and Emulit. Great pub and atmosphere with good choices of food and beer. The food was all lovely, hot and no long wait. I asked to try a sauce that wasnt on the dish I ordered and it was no problem. Would definitely return here and recommend.

Trina really made our experience at the Cwm Talwg on Father’s day! She provided such welcoming and bubbly service you could tell she really cares about the customers and their experience! The food was lovely we had multiple drinks, 2 mains and 2 desserts and spent about £35 per person. They also have a Gluten free menu which was great for my Dad whose Coeliac.
