Your normal Wetherspoons experience, but in Barry. The building used to be a bank and there is a vault door at the front lower level. Named after a London political reformer in the Georgian period who bought a large area of land in what is now Barry in 1812. The carpet is an art-deco style which doesnt seem to represent much, but does somewhat incorporate the colours of the Barry coat of arms.

Best Wetherspoons I've ever been too. Food was freshly cooked, and was delicious. Service was first class Sat outside in a very sunny, pleasant beer garden. Will certainly return and highly recommend. Other Weatherspoons, could take a leaf out of their book.

cheap and cheerful pub food. We came in on 14th January and were sat on table 67. The young man with curly hair was very charismatic and helpful. He spoke to all tables with confidence and seemed like he was enjoying his job. He created a lighthearted and welcoming atmosphere, while remaining professional and ensuring the space was cleaned up quickly. Great customer service.
