I visited the brand-new Wendy’s in Basildon today and was really impressed. The whole place still has that fresh, just-opened feel — everything was spotless, modern, and well laid out, making it easy to find a seat and get settled. It’s a very dirty place. I could understand if they were busy, but the place was completely dead. All the tables were dirty, and I had to ask the staff to clean one before I could sit down, the floor sticky as well.
