First time at the Oriental Palace, wanted to find a good Chinese restaurant local to me. What a great surprise, the decor is beautiful, the service is impeccable and food was nothing short of superb. Everything was cooked with flair and presentation was great. The choice of dishes is huge with a unbelievable range suitable for all tastes. If I could rate this place lower than a 1, I’d need a shovel because that’s where the rating would go — straight underground. Let’s start with the food. My soft-shell crab (usually my favorite dish) tasted like Poseidon himself had seasoned it with pure ocean tears and regret. So salty I’m surprised it didn’t come with a complimentary IV drip.
