I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely warrants one. We dined at Behind expecting a polished, high-end tasting menu but sadly the reality fell far short, both in terms of hygiene & overall experience. The first concerning issue was watching the head chef & owner in the open kitchen. While trying to project a certain “cool” persona, his behaviour came across as dismissive & unprofessional. We witnessed him taste food from a spoon & then put the same spoon back into the pan as well as repeatedly running his hands through his hair while prepping dishes. He was on his phon

The most incredible experience at Behind!!! Our favourite meal out we’ve ever had! All the food was delicious, such depth of flavours and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was calm yet still lots to see with the chefs cooking away/interacting with all the diners. We felt very welcome! I would recommend this restaurant over and over again ☺️

We went to Behind for a special occasion, and honestly, it delivered exactly what I hoped it would, and then some. It’s Michelin starred, but it doesn’t feel stiff or intimidating, which I really appreciated. The fish focused tasting menu was genuinely spectacular.
