Great local pub with an adorable owner and a cute cat. That’s exactly what I expected from a london pub as a tourist and I was not disappointed, will definitely come back when I visit London again. They also specialise in pies that are really good and the prices are very fair. An authentic london experience!

A proper hidden gem in Bethnal Green! I first discovered The Camel through my boyfriend, as it was his favourite spot, and it quickly became mine too. Every time I come to the area, I always swing by The Camel. My daughter introduced me to it a year or two ago and I've been several times now. Each time is like the first as I forgot how good the pies are. The service and staff are lovely, very kind and welcoming. If you are looking for a great pub with killer pies - this is the place.
