June 2026..Went there again for the Sunday afternoon Blues gig. It was as good as ever. // Went there for Sunday afternoon gig. It was a great atmosphere, with a friendly crowd Good choice of beers.. and while I didn't eat, pub grub meals..as well as a Sunday roast are available. November 2025. Situated approximately 12 feet from the Ozzy Osbourne statue, The Brass House has somehow decided that Black Sabbath fans are the one demographic they’d like to treat like absolute garbage. What an absolute disgrace! The attitude of the serving staff was nothing short of disgusting. The bar staff on the other hand were fine. We ordered separately and asked for all meals to be delivered together. 6 people. One meal arrived and honestly it was pathetic for the £15 price tag (see photo).. but nothing else came for 10 minutes. When questioned the meal was taken away and we waited at least another 10 minutes before the meals returned. Variable quality and variable value for money. Roast dinners advertised with unlimited roasties ... they had none! Get your act together people. A

The environment and atmosphere of the pub is really nice, it’s cozy and it has comfortable seating, you can also order from your table. There is air conditioning inside and there is a nice small seating are outside right next to the canal HOWEVER, we got 2 of the Black Sabbath IPA English Ale ( based on the description given from the bar staff) however the beer was disgusting, flat and not cold and did not look anything like the beer that was advertised outside the pub ( picture from the beer and the advertisement are posted ).
