Was looking forward to this. My first time in Braintree so I had no preconceived ideas. Ordered my first biryani and asked for it to be hot. My cider came out with a slice of lemon - yep you heard it here! Biryani was bland. No spice. The only wow factor other than the bill was the dip ufo that I never ordered but so glad it came out. Underwhelming experience throughout. Not from here so maybe this is the local taste but not for me. I live on the south coast and would pay ⅓ less for what I had today.

Stunning restaurant with lovely fish tanks and beautiful decor. The waiter Traiq was very friendly and professional so much so I thought he was the owner! The food was amazing and one of the best Jalfrezi Baltis I've had in a long time. The naan was also really nice and I upgraded my naan to a garlic, chilli and cheese which I highly recommend. After they gave us a free spirit and thought the prices were very reasonable. Can't wait to come back again and I definitely recommend 💯👌🏻

For the price, this is excellent. Delicious, plentiful food, friendly staff, clean restaurant. Only minor issue has been occasional slow service when they’re particularly busy, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Dansak a highlight.

Love the food, menu is very informative of ingredients, heat, allergies and spice I give it a 5/5 just for the menu. The food was awesome and service fantastic. The restaurant is very clean and the interior is lovely, service is very attentive and helpful when ordering. They also have a takeaway service with delivery. I'm definitely going back for more.😀😁🍽
