Sat outside on a nice sunny day, it was so busy. I got the chicken and chorizo quesadillas and they were very good. We also got the churros to share which were delicious. To drink I got the horchata which was good but not the best I’ve had.

Stopped here for lunch while in Brighton after spotting it online, and I’m really glad we did. I don’t think you can book, so we just turned up, and it filled up quickly, which was a good sign straight away. It’s quite a small place, but that just added to the atmosphere. The food definitely lived up to it. I can be a bit particular with burritos, but they were really accommodating when I asked for a few changes, which I really appreciated. Good Mexican food is hard to find in Brighton, sure you could go to the well known chain, Las Iguanas but the food there is awful. Instead it’s nice to find somewhere authentic and that’s where La Choza fits the bill. I love the decor here, it’s bright, colorful and like a little corner of Mexico in Brighton. It’s not a huge place so booking ahead is probably wise, and although we didn’t the staff happily placed us in a queue on their app, which texted us when our table was ready.
