Went to the Costa at Tesco in Burnley this morning and it was absolutely heaving with people, but the staff were incredibly friendly, calm, and organised throughout. As a vegan, I’ve recently been quite disappointed with the vegan selection at Starbucks, so I wasn’t expecting much. Costa pleasantly surprised me though – they had a wide variety of vegan food and drinks available, and I even managed to get a cheesecake! Great service, great options, and a really positive experience despite how busy it was.

I had ordered a matcha with strawberry syrup and coconut milk. My son wanted his own matcha, so I had ordered another one for him but yet again he did not mention he wanted a plain one, so I had told the worker to make a plan one for him. She was so lovely and had done as I told her again and again. So loving and understanding!! Not sure what her name was but she definitely needs a pay raise and promotion!! Thank you understanding my son!! Definitely will be going often and visiting!!

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received. The incorrect items were delivered, and while I promptly returned them, I was informed that a reimbursement or the correct order could not be provided due to potential financial losses for the establishment. This explanation, coupled with the apparent lack of empathy, particularly given my current pregnancy and work-from-home circumstances, is deeply concerning. It is understandable why the stores may be experiencing closures.

First of all, I am not a proper coffee ☕️ lover and I not sure about the prices elsewhere, but this place cheaper than I have been. £2.40 for a medium coffee is ok I think. Also it’s pretty spacious with toilets next door and of coffee inside Tesco express itself 👍
