High Sugar Warning Similar problem as Costa, most of the items are so unfriendly to diabetes and keto diet people. I was so shocked that as a chained cafe, most of the food has sugar. With loads of sugar syrup to support the drinks. How about savory options? Found pots of tomato soup in the fridge. But found that it has sugar when reading the food label. That left the sandwiches, which was not suitable for keto diet people. Quite disappointed that Nero didn't try to do something after the sugar tax. Kinda sorry for this lovely cafe. We ordered espresso, it very sour. A big difference compared to the one opposite the train station. Maybe the coffee bean they used are different. We also ordered an Italian tiramisu, tasted not bad. The deco and atmosphere of the Nero Cafes are always good. Enjoyed having coffee or tea in the cafe.

The usual scenario - kept waiting 20 minutes with one person serving, and immediately someone else (who has looked at security) comes down and fannies about doing absolutely nothing. Eventually, after 25 minutes - the person who was originally there serves me, and the other individual who came down, immediately serves the person behind me. This is their underhand, manipulative trick, and they are happy to keep me waiting. Always bad service and treated very rudely in those chains.
