This is a lovely little place! I had the Croque Monsieur which was very nice and very cheesy, I also had apple juice to drink which came in a bottle. The salad had quite a lot of dressing on it which definitely isn’t for me, but if you like that sort of thing then it was a fairly big portion of salad! The café itself is very quaint in terms of design and even has little outdoor tables for you to sit at if you would like to.

I took myself here for Sunday lunch recently. I didn’t book ahead of time but I’d suggest you do - this is a very popular little French bistro with good reason; the food is wonderful! I chose the homemade vegetarian loaf - a lentil, red pepper, sagey slice of gorgeousness that came served with delicious French style roast potatoes, a healthy portion of roast parsnips, a Yorkshire pudding, lashings of homemade gravy and a side dish filled with an abundance of carrots, peas, cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower cheese. Popped in for lunch on Sunday with my mother. Charming little place. I always think it’s a good sign when the menu is small and focused and was proven correct. Ordered extremely decadent and delicious croque monsieur and croque Breton. Just about had space for dessert too 😃 Staff were friendly too which always helps. Great, local place and recommend to anyone. Arrived without a reservation in case anyone is wondering.
