We ordered 5 dim sums + 1 noodle, all are very good, brought us the memory in Hong Kong. The fried prawn cake is highly recommended! The owner is super kind and gifted us mandarins for Lunar New Year 大吉大利.

Food was of a good quality and quite tasty. Portions were quite small, especially the Pork Lettuce Wrap starter that comes with 4 large lettuce leaves, but not enough "food" to get the flavour. Ordered 4 mains + rice + noodles + chips between 2 adults and a teenager that doesn't wat much, and we ate the whole lot without being full. Good, but not as good as Summer Palace

We went to The Happy Gathering last night after not visiting for years. We decided to give it another try as the food hygiene rating has improved, but unfortunately it was a big mistake. As soon as we walked in, staff stood behind the counter and pointed across the room to where we had to sit, which didn’t feel welcoming at all. The experience went downhill quickly.
