The food was perfectly reasonable, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. There was a significant delay before anyone came to take our initial drinks order, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The restaurant appears to be yet another(!) example of a traditionally dine-in establishment trying to operate simultaneously as a restaurant, takeaway, and delivery hub, but at the expense of those actually choosing to dine in. Got seated straight away after walking in. Got a quiet corner and had a decent pizza and nice glass of wine. The building is beautiful. The service was great and Daniel was very welcoming and helpful. Carlisle doesn't have much choice for eating out for under £30 and pizza express is reliable.

Lovely lunch stop. Service was perfect, food arrived in excellent time and was high quality. Lunch time special menu of £10 for a pizza or Buddha bowl and drink very good value. Ginger and lemon drink highly recommended! Best bit was though that the manager who served us didn’t bunch all the punters together in one area. She clearly understands that folks want to talk so happily spaced everyone out. From someone going through chemo this meant I was able to relax as well. Thank you to the staff.
