We recently visited The Mytle Tavern for their Sunday roast. The pub itself is really pretty, with lots of warm lighting and a cosy, traditional pub feel that makes it a lovely place to sit and relax. It definitely has that inviting atmosphere you hope for when heading out for a roast. The service was good – friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our visit, which we appreciated. This pub must be very popular as it was very busy at around 4pm on a Sunday. We booked ahead and we're seated swiftly. I think the roast here was the best roast I've had in a long time and I'm still thinking about the cheesecake I had for dessert. Staff were attentive even with how busy it was.

First came to the myrtle back end of 2024 when my boyfriend took me for food and since then we have gone back regularly ever since. We have gone on many occasions to rock and roll bingos, Sunday Lunches, just for drinks or a midweek meal.
