Fully delicious! Stopped in for a quick lunch, and it was. Service was very speedy. It was a busy Monday lunch time, and it is a tiny cafe, so I had to be mindful of my elbows as I dug into crusty rarebit! They have a choice of 5 different lemonades. That should give you a flavour of how carefully all the menu items are considered. Congrats on your poached eggs. A good poached egg is one of life's simple joys 😁 Would highly recommend.

This is a great place for breakfast. We went this morning as part of a weekend stay over in Chester. The poached eggs were great and tasty as well as the granola bowl; full of tasty flavour and fresh fruit. The tea was good as the coffee tasty too. Good customer service and staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend for breakfast here with a good selection on the menu and freshly cooked to order.

I was visiting Chester for the first time in absolutely yonks and asked the locals which independent coffee shops were worth a visit. Cinderbox Coffee ☕️ was mentioned by more than one person. I'm glad 😊 they did. Chester is rammed with places flogging caffeinated beverii, but not many as good as Cinderbox, in my not so humble opinion. Three things are of paramount importance. The people serving my latte, the swirly on top of it, and the taste 😋 of the coffee in question. Five stars in each category as far as I'm concerned. The cafe is lovely, a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere along with incredible coffee. Ben was so kind and gave excellent service to myself and my dad. 10/10 macchiato with Cherry and custard danish.
