WELL called at THE HIGHFIELDS INN CHESTERFIELD today for lunch Had Lasagne and garlic bread which was very tasty and hot so not knocking the actual food taste. HOWEVER the PRESENTATION left a lot to be desired this is how it was bought to the table . Not impressed .

Nice and cozy. Can get a little loud but to be expected for a pub. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. Parking available and disabled parking too. Services excellent. Can order at the bar or at the table using a QR code. This was a brilliant visit.

Took son out for a celebration meal, service at the bar was good, the lady read everything back to us to check everything was right. Good job. When meals arrived my youngest sons burger came with cheese, lettuce and tomato even though I stated at the bar to be plain. A few minutes passed when my oldest realised he didn't have his peppercorn sauce, I had to get up to ask to then when recieved it he'd petty much finished. A young girl was near and checked on a table in the corner but never asked us, which I was really wanting her to as my oldest sons steak was shocking. It wasn't cooked to his l

Been to this pub for years, food is great quality for how it's priced , the staff are lovely and the interior is up to date. They have some veggie options , it is kid friendly, and very clean. I can't fault anything here , always been great 😊
