I warmly recommend the Ivy for a special meal in Chichester, the food is excellent and the service is above what you normally get, the staff are friendly and helpful, knowledgeable and polite. The food we had this time was great, everything was well cooked with balanced flavour and excellent sauces. You really have to try their signature dessert, the chocolate bomb, which is really special

We were sat on a table in between two other tables which were very close together - it was like we were altogether and their conversations could be heard and likewise ours! Also it was so near to the entrance door and on a cold night it was so cold with door constantly being opened - I had to go and get my coat to keep warm! Have been a few times to the Ivy and food is generally very good but I had the prawn cocktail this time and wouldn’t recommend- it was
