One of my favourite pubs in Chorley and a place I find myself returning to again and again. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations from the menu. Booking ahead is a good idea, but even if you walk in, they’ll help find you a table. The food is consistently good, with great promotions running throughout the week. If you’re a meat person, I highly recommend the ribeye steak or the meat burger. The beer selection is excellent too, with plenty of choice, and properly chilled. Very popular place, most tables reserved and quite a few large parties in. Staff friendly and very helpful, moved tables around to accommodate a disabled member of our party, a bit of a wait for food, about 30 mins in total but it arrived hot and cooked very well. Would definitely recommend it for a nice family meal out but reserving a table would be advised as it can get very busy.

First visit last night hunting down a quiz night on a Thursday and for a spot of tea. Pub was really busy, great atmosphere, fantastic staff especially the young man and girl behind the bar. Forewarned us of possible delay on food, and also then on desert's, food was good, staff all seemed happy in their work even though they were rushed off their feet. All in all a very friendly atmospheric evening
