We were visiting the area and found this place completely by chance when looking for local food places online. We orderd the bunker meal for 2 people. Not only was this increadable value for money with the quanitity of food but every dish we had was delicious. We really enjoyed it and will recommend it to anyone visiting carlisle and will defienately be back if we are ever up here again. Thanks Gurka Spicy!!

Five stars for Gurkha Spicy! Absolutely delicious dinner – the Meat Thali for 2 is such a treat and so tasty. I loved that we could try so many different flavours and spices, and even with so much variety, the portions were still really generous! The lamb dishes were amazing, so rich and flavourful, they literally melted in the mouth! The Chicken Pakora was a great starter too. I meant to take a few photos to show it off, but we were so hungry it was gone in minutes! 😅 Definitely our new favourite spot.

Been ordering here for a while now, but disappointed with tonight’s meal. Got completely the wrong curry, dry and watery, loads of coriander, when in fact we ordered a damask! Sadly it was later in the evening and we didn’t realise until part way through. As food was already part eaten.. seemed daft to do anything about it. Annoying though, as we only get one per month. 😩😩
