Went in for a late lunch with my mum today to celebrate a belated Mother’s Day, from the second we walked in the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection and well presented. Shoutout to The chef Matt for cooking them. Our waitress Lola was also thoroughly attentive, she couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone at the Merlin for such a lovely time 😊💕

We come for a meal and drink before every Derby County home game, despite the pub being exceptionally busy the staff will always recognise us and we don’t have to ask anymore for extra butter, it just arrives. Great service, nice food at great value. What more do you need.
