Is this even a garden centre any more? Just look at the pictures on the page. One picture of plants. This is now a shopping centre that adds considérable to Polution & traffic congestion in Ditchling. I bought 12 “impatients” busy lizzies here 3 weeks ago. By sheer conincidence 6 more from Tates in Hassocks. The ones from Tâtes are thriving. The ones from Notcutts all but dead. For plants, best avoid this chain centre. Fine for clothes & furniture shopping & meals.

Just wanted to say what excellent service in the restaurant. I visited with my mum, in a wheelchair, daughter and grandson, in a stroller. It was the hottest day of the year. A lovely member of staff carried our tray of food to the table and 2 others suggested we moved to a cooler spot and provided a fan! We felt very well looked after - thank you! Sally M

Came to Notcutts for a Tuesday morning meet up with friends, as always the case. Unfortunately, price's have gone up somewhat foe breakfast. Especially if you don't follow their set breakfast schedule. The other items that you would find in a garden centre are as far as I am concerned great VFM, but the restaurant needs to draw it in a bit. However, that is just my opinion.

Lovely garden centre, spacious and airy and the cafe 'The Kitchen' serves lovely freshly cooked selection of food , along with assorted cakes. It was so tempting that after lunch we walked around and visited the concessions before returning for a cup of tea and a slice of a really scrumptious cake before heading home.
