I was so pleased with this restaurant. Went in with low expectations, but they were smashed. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. There's a brilliant range on the menu with something for everyone, especially vegetarians. The restaurant was clean and well presented, especially considering that it had been a busy Father's Day, and we went in the early evening. Our food came really quickly and was very tasty as well as prepared to a good standard. The serving size was great, especially the fish and chips. The prices are good and there's plenty of parking.

Stopped in the hotel so had evening meal and breakfast in The Gateway. Food was good, my only criticism would be that the bacon was overcooked for me. The service from the waiter, Junior was excellent. He ensured everything was ok and double checked our order. I’ve been before when it was busy so made a reservation this time but it was quiet so not needed on this occasion. Would visit again.

We went here for an early dinner as a table of 6 at 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon, we were the only people in there and yet it took nearly an hour to get our food. I will say the food was very nice though the portions were very small, but the waiting time was just ridiculous, I have understood a little more if the place was packed but being the only people in there it was a joke. We wanted to order dessert but after 2 hours just to have or food we decided against it.
