It deserves 5 stars for everything else but the service which was a tad mediocre. Amazing food, truly amazing food. Some of the best I have tasted. The restaurant and the bar are delightful and you're bot crammed in, plenty of nice spacious seating. The starters are absolutely incredible, so were the mains and desserts. We weren't checked on very often though, only when plates were done, and for the price and 10% service charge paid I would have expected a little more. We visited Badger & Co in Edinburgh and had two wagyu burgers followed by a dessert each, and everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant felt very comfortable, the temperature was perfect, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing — a lovely quiet nook away from the busier parts of the city. The staff were brilliant throughout and made us feel really welcome. We also loved the audiobook playing in the toilets, which was such a unique and memorable touch!
